Tourism and awareness

During my travels, I witnessed the devastating impacts of mass tourism on the environment, particularly on Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. On one of the northern beaches of the island, I observed that a species of starfish was severely affected by irresponsible tourism.

Attracted by the opportunity to take spectacular photos, visitors would pull these stars out of the water and handle them, causing their death. Local fishermen, seeing an economic opportunity, inadvertently contributed to this practice by supplying these stars to tourists.

In light of this reality, I wanted to take action by raising awareness among travellers about good practices for more respectful tourism. I have thus designed a range of tote bags and t-shirts featuring impactful messages, available in several versions. One highlights the impact of tourism on starfish, while another raises awareness about the protection of corals, which are severely threatened by chemical sunscreens.

Each bag and t-shirt includes an explanatory text as well as simple actions to adopt in order to limit its impact. The goal? To make the traveller themselves an ambassador for change, spreading this awareness message on the beaches and beyond.

Le CESTMed

The CESTMed, located in La Grande-Motte, is the only care centre for sea turtles in the Mediterranean. It is involved in the rehabilitation and preservation of the three species of sea turtles found in this region: the green turtle, the loggerhead turtle, and the leatherback turtle.

Through three naturalistic illustrations, I aimed to highlight the beauty of these species and raise awareness about the importance of their protection. I also created a poster illustrating the rehabilitation pool of the centre, an essential place for their care and reintroduction into their natural environment.

These creations aim to inform and raise awareness about the urgency of preserving these sea turtles and their environment.

Les marais du Vigueirat

The Vigueirat Marshes, located near Arles, are a natural haven of 1200 hectares where an exceptionally rich fauna and flora coexist. This unique place invites exploration of the treasures of the Camargue, from birds to large waders, and from aquatic creatures to discreet mammals.

For this project, I had the honour of designing the visual identity of the reserve. Inspired by the poetry of this landscape and the extraordinary diversity of its inhabitants, I created a logo and graphic materials, including a poster and an educational card game. Each element aims to spark curiosity and celebrate this biodiversity through a tone that is both playful and artistic.

“Beauty lies in the details,” a message I have woven into a meticulous visual approach, reminding us that wonder often arises from what we take the time to observe. My work, from naturalistic illustrations to the graphic universe, pays tribute to the uniqueness of this exceptional site and the urgency of preserving this living heritage.

Keelung For A Walk

As part of my trip to Taiwan, I collaborated with the association “Keelung for a Walk” to highlight the local heritage of the city of Keelung, located in the north of the island. My project focused on creating an illustrated map aimed at promoting the old Japanese district, situated near the port of Keelung.

I designed an eight-panel, double-sided brochure in the shape of a pocket, highlighting this historic district. The main visual showcases the Japanese quarter with its local culinary specialities, all in a fully illustrated retro Japanese style. In the background, the grand Keelung temple with the statue of Guan Yin and Zhongzheng Park can be seen, providing a complete immersion into the unique atmosphere of this area.

This detailed brochure includes a map of the neighbourhood, accompanied by various information on points of interest, local culinary specialities, and the local history. The aim is to provide visitors with an enriching and authentic experience, while highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Keelung.

De plumes & de soi

The sea inspires, soothes, transports. Fluid and infinite, it symbolises freedom and balance, concepts that often nourish my inspiration. Its waves, like every creation, evoke a journey between the idea and its realisation.

When Mia entrusted me with the creation of the logo for her writing office, I wanted to convey the fluidity and beauty of her profession: editing, writing life stories, and guiding her clients through their narratives.

For this project, I drew inspiration from the elegance of swallows, those messenger birds that, like Mia's words, fly freely between sky and sea.

The logo also incorporates a subtle reference to a letter, with a shape reminiscent of a stamp, highlighting the connection between writing and the journey of ideas.

Le Carnet de vadrouille

Léa Chopin, a passionate adventurer and creator of the Instagram account Carnet de vadrouille, entrusted me with the creation of her logo.

Always in search of new horizons, Léa shares her travels through her page. Inspired by her spirit of exploration, I designed a minimalist and wireframe logo representing a pair of shoes, the perfect symbol of her ongoing adventure.

Presented in black and white and adaptable to various formats, including stickers, this logo accompanies Léa on her journeys and embodies the very essence of Carnet de vadrouille. An invitation to follow in her footsteps around the world!

Brand identity

Emma Riouall

At 23 years old, Emma Riouall embarks on a wonderful adventure as a sophrologist. To support her in this promising start, I have envisioned a graphic identity that reflects both serenity and renewal, which are essential to her practice.

For this project, I drew inspiration from Japanese prints, blending delicacy and balance. The blooming of the sakura flowers and the light flight of the swallow symbolise a new beginning, a gentle rebirth full of promises: "A new spring."

At the heart of this identity is a watercolour illustration, designed as an invitation to tranquility and personal growth. Featured on her business cards, educational materials, and Instagram posts, this aesthetic provides Emma with a visual presence that is both calming and professional.

Each element has been designed to support its message: to gently accompany its clients on their own journey towards well-being.

Azur and the Zabaa

For the cover of Azur and the Zabaa's first album, I wanted to capture Merwan's visual universe, inspired by Maghreb, Berber, and Tuareg traditions. This young singer explores themes that blend mysticism, desert, and personal quest, drawing from a rich and ancestral imagination.

The illustration, with its warm tones of burnt orange and sandy brown, evokes the enchanting atmosphere of starry nights and endless dunes. It also reflects a symbolic dimension akin to the spirit of The Alchemist, where each journey becomes a path of transformation.

This album is a gateway to a rich and introspective universe, between tradition and contemporary exploration.
